HR Associate

Description

Key responsibilities

  • Ensures accuracy and completeness of workforce information in HRIS, including employee files; conducts regular data-entry audits to ensure completeness and accuracy

  • Coordinates and assists with internal audit requests

  • Pulls reports, extract information and data and performs fundamental level of analysis in areas of responsibility

  • Provides staffing and recruiting support; coordinates recruiting activities, screening, and interviewing of candidates; updates the applicant tracking system, conducts reference checks for new hires; coordinates new hire orientation assignments and activities

  • Participates in compensation processes and benefits administration by partnering with shared services and corporate human resources

  • Assists in managing administration of and adherence to HR policies and procedures; advises on compliance with key legislative requirements

  • Coordinates training needs assessment and participates in training activities

  • Creates employment contracts as required by local law or practices

  • Manages and coordinates internal audit requests

  • Ensures and manages all purchasing orders related to HR in Oracle system, and monthly invoicing to suppliers

  • Acts as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience

Qualifications

Education

4 year University degree in a relevant field of study preferred

Experience

Requires relevant HR work experience (2 – 4 years) or specialized skills obtained through education, training or OJT experience

Language

Strong English skills in written and oral
