We are currently seeking a Human Resources Manager to help lead the dynamic HR team in Western Canada out of our Surrey, BC branch.

Reporting to the Human Resources VP you will lead a team of Human Resources Advisors as well as implements new projects across the region. You will have accountability for Organizational Development (including succession planning with business partners), Labor and Employee Relations, Compensation Administration, Investigations, Diversity Management, Employment & Labour Law, Communications, Human Resources Data Management and Performance Management.

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with business leadership to translate current and future business goals and develops initiatives and tactics to meet business objectives in alignment with overall human resources strategies and processes.

  • Establish strategies with business leaders to select and retain the diverse talent required to maintain a competitive advantage and to align with recruiting strategies.

  • Resolve conflicts and provides coaching and counseling on human resources matters for functional or organizational leadership.

  • Conduct investigations for business organizations or functional areas.

  • Provide employee development expertise, support systems and processes focused on continuous learning and knowledge sharing to achieve high performance

  • Ensure compliance with key government legislative requirements and adherence to human resources policies and procedures.

  • Measure and analyze key performance indicators to deliver functional and business performance improvements related to human resource investments.

  • Communicate and consult on all areas of human resources including compensation, benefits, staffing, organizational development, employee relations, and performance management in alignment with common human resources strategies and processes.

  • Coach and mentor direct reports; assign work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs; assess performance and provide feedback to direct reports.

Qualifications

  • Must be legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada without sponsorship.

  • Post-Secondary degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field required.

  • Additional Certifications and Training related to your field is also strongly preferred.

  • 5 - 7 years of HR Leadership experience managing HR teams.

  • 10 years’ experience working in a Human Resources function, with proven experience in Union and Non-Union environments.
