As the HR Business Partner you will support our business leaders and talented people in one of Cummins complex and busy regions, supporting the Operations and Supply Chain business. You will be a part of a large HR team where you will have many avenues to explore and grow within Cummins as your career progresses.

*You will make an impact in the following ways: *

  • Communicate and consult on all areas of human resources including compensation, benefits, recruitment, organisational development, employee relations, and performance management 

  • Build constructive relationships with employees and other stakeholders 

  • Reinforce consistent application of Cummins standards and apply knowledge of employment and labour law, ensuring compliance to legislation and company policies and procedures 

  • Collaborate and partner with business leaders in applying business and human resources functional knowledge to interpret the business environment, identify and prioritize current and future problems requiring solutions, and develop/implement initiatives to meet the business needs 

      

*To be successful in this role you will need the following: *

  • Experience in a similar role, partnering with business leaders

  • An understanding of HR processes and employment law 

  • An understanding of Enterprise Agreements and employee relations or a willingness to learn

  • Strong problem-solving and influencing skills with an ability to deal with conflict situations in a rational and constructive manner 

  • Able to identify, analyse, formulate, and implement appropriate courses of action, advising managers appropriately 

  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with a diverse stakeholder group
