We are looking for a talented Disability Specialist to join our team specializing in Human Resources for our Cummins Business Services segment in Nashville, TN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Resolves benefits related inquiries or issues for plan participants at various levels of complexity.
Supports and has in depth knowledge in the administration of employee benefits programs which may include health, disability, welfare, mobility and retirement plans; maintains compliance with plan design and government legislation.
Guides plan participants on benefits processes, investigates issues, and provides problem resolution.
Responds timely to inquiries requiring interpretation of plan documents; provides recommendations to benefit related issues.
Generates required internal and external reports for benefit program administration; supports analysis to evaluate benefit plan and strategy effectiveness and to support required legislative filings.
Maintains benefit records and prepares documents necessary for implementing benefit coverage.
Serves as a contact between the external benefits suppliers, employee groups and Line Human Resources.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Ability to provide superior customer service
Prior insurance/benefits knowledge is preferred
Ability to accurately calculate percentage and enter information into excel reports
Payroll familiarity and HRIS systems background (OneSource) a plus
Dependable team player attitude

Base hourly rate commensurate with experience.
