This is an exciting opportunity in Nashville, Tennessee for a Disability Specialist. Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading projects.
Skills and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include processing claim approvals from the vendor and calculating appropriate payment of disability pay meeting payroll deadlines.
Multi-tasking, excellent interpersonal skills and superior customer service is a requirement in this role.
The ability to work in a team environment is a must.
Responsible for interacting with Cummins (CMI) employees as well as the Cummins (CMI) HR community to provide information in response to inquiries about the claims process within 24-48 business hours.
Inquiries may be inbound, outbound or a combination of both.
Prior insurance/benefits knowledge is preferred.
2 years Customer Service related experience required
Prior insurance/benefits knowledge is preferred
Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service skills and interpersonal skills
Ability to accurately calculate percentages of pay and enter information into reports
Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
Ability to accurately document and confidentially record customer/client information
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office Products
Required Education, Licenses or Certifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Compensation and Benefits
Base hourly rate commensurate with experience.
