Director - Global Payroll
Description
We are looking for a talented Global Payroll Director to join our team specializing in payroll operations for our Filtration business headquartered in Nashville, TN. The role is designated hybrid and requires less than 10% overall travel.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Leads company-wide payroll operations responsible for the processing of multiple employee payroll cycles in multiple regions
Leads the development and implementation of pay technologies such as payroll and time attendance systems
Ensures accurate and timely delivery of payroll payment and reporting activities in compliance with legislative requirements, company policies and internal controls
Ensures payroll strategies, policies, processes, and delivery are aligned with legislative and business requirements; ensures the accuracy and completeness of process documentation
Directs accurate and timely processing of year-end activities ensuring activities are managed with payroll services providers, while maintaining a strong understanding of new and existing tax and other payroll related legislation
Responsible for the technology strategies and implementation of payroll (and time and attendance) systems globally
Ensure compliance with legislation, are designed with an eye toward balancing stakeholder needs and drive pay and time accuracy around the world
Leads the development of operational plans and monitors performance while maintaining budgetary oversight responsibilities for company-wide payroll expenditures
Coaches and motivates staff, provides guidance and direction on problems and issues; delegates work assignments considering employee skills and development needs

Payroll Administration: translates company policies, tax and legislative requirements in the delivery of accurate and timely employee payments and reporting; ensures compliance with applicable regulations and internal control procedures
Education/Experience
Ideal candidate has a College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required
Significant level of relevant work experience within leadership and budgetary experience required
Significant level of internal compliance and payroll experience required
Significant experience leading global payroll initiatives required

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
