HR Generalist

Description

We are looking for a hands- on HR Generalist with experience in operational HR who has already gained initial experience in change management. In this role you will significantly support the establishment of a new production unit in the environment of a large, international organization. After an induction phase in Groß Gerau, the position will be based in Mannheim

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Supports human resources activities in preparation for a new production site. Responsible for the deployment and effectiveness of a broad range of defined Human Resources processes within the business and partner with managers and employees to resolve issues and concerns.

  • Take ownership of HR administrative tasks across the full employee life cycle from onboarding to exit and finding ways to ensure a positive employee journey at every step.

  • Compiles and analyzes human resources process metrics, analyzes results and recommends improvements.

  • Assist in the resolution of conflicts and provides coaching and counseling on employment matters; conducts and documents investigations.

  • Participate in performance management activities including employee development planning.

  • Provides staffing and recruiting support; conducts work force data analysis.

  • Facilitates compensation process and benefits administration by partnering with shared services and corporate human resources; developing and implementing workforce compensation recommendations.

  • Assists in managing administration of and adherence to human resources policies and procedures; advises on compliance with key legislative requirements.

  • Coordinates training needs assessment and participates in training activities and special projects.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Fully qualified Personalfachkauffrau/mann with existing operational experience in a production environment is essential.

  • A thorough understanding tarifflaw (Elektro-und Metallindustrie) is essential.

  • Fluent in German (written and spoken) is essential.

  • Professional level of English language is required.
