Our Business Services Unit have an exciting opportunity for a talented Payroll Analyst to support all payment activities, provide analysis and assistance in resolving complex issues across all UK, Belgium or Ireland manufacturing sites.
You will liaise with a number of key stakeholders within a global business therefore a high degree of customer service, flexibility and attention to detail is vital for this role.
This is a hybrid opportunity, you will work from your home office or our site in Darlington
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Support all payroll related activities i.e. time management reconciliation, complete requests from sites and external agencies, recording KPI, scorecard statistics and billing information
Execute Continuous Improvement across payroll functions and be responsible for developing and implementing improvement strategies related to payroll processing.
Examine each payroll run for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Analyse the payroll process and improve its efficiency and accuracy
Ensure to collaborate effectively with various team colleagues in the UK, Belgium and Ireland
Provide guidance and have an in depth knowledge of UK Statutory legislation, Maternity, Paternity, Adoption, SSP, PAYE, NI, Court Orders etc. to employees.
Responsible for providing first line support to manufacturing sites/employees with payroll queries.
Maintain and update standard operating procedures in our Document Management System.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Foundation degree in payroll management or a certified payroll related qualification
Proficient in Excel, Word (ability to produce pivot tables, VLOOKUP etc.) and using Time Management, Payroll, HR systems, SAP
Previous experience in payroll within any industry is essential for this position
Experienced in demonstrating a high degree of accuracy, meeting tight deadlines, problem solving and excellent communication skills
Qualifications
Salary and Compensation Benefits;
£31,861 - £38,940 (dependent on skills and experience)
Defined contribution pension scheme - company contributions up to 9%
