This is an exciting opportunity in Cookeville, Tennessee, for a Human Resources Coordinator. Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading projects.
Your impact will happen in these and other ways:
Completes tasks required to support more experienced colleagues in responding to employee inquires or issues related to benefit programs which may include health, welfare, and retirement plans, in compliance with plan design and government legislation.
Handles routine plan interpretations and inquiries in response to plan participant inquiries in a timely manner.
Generates required reports for benefits program administration.
Maintains benefit records and prepares documents necessary for implementing benefit coverage.
Supports changes to administrative processes.
Prepares materials for delivering benefit plan educational information to internal stakeholders. Provides superior customer service—respond courteously, accurately and in a timely fashion to benefit questions and requests.
Skills and Experience Required:
Minimum three years of experience in human resources.
Understanding of HR best practices and processes.
Prior experience in a plant manufacturing environment preferred.
Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
Strong ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadline.
Required Education, Licenses or Certifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
